New York State Museum Week in Finger Lakes Wine Country May 31 - June 6, 2012 is a celebration of world-class, diverse museums and other cultural experiences found in Finger Lakes Wine Country. All across New York State, museums, zoos and botanical gardens, historic homes, living history museums, arts centers and cultural organizations cordially invite you to discover a fascinating world of art, photography, history, science, pop-culture and more during the week. Nearly twelve museums in Finger Lakes Wine Country are offering "teens 19 and under free" admission throughout the special week. In addition, accommodations are offering accommodation packages with discounted tickets to the participating museums, and other cultural events and activities will help round out the week. With world class wineries and top cuisine, this event will give you the chance to experience all of the best offerings from around the lake. With the purchase of a ticket you will be able to sample wines and food from all of the nearby wineries and restaurants. While at the event you will be able make wine and food purchases. Complimentary wine check service will be available so you can freely walk and enjoy the festival.

National Trails Day [More Info]
All Day Event; 06/02/2012
50th Anniversary End to End Hike on the Finger Lakes Trail. There will be 75 simultaneous hikes on the main trail.
Patches will be awarded to those who sign up in advance and participate.
