Long-time friends and highly-respected old-time musicians, Alice Gerrard and Beverly Smith, have a history of making music together informally, but this is their first foray into working up a joint repertoire. They are enjoying putting together material from classic old-time duets, original songs, fiddle and banjo instrumentals, brushing up old guitar leads...you name it. They recently toured Spain, the UK and Europe, warming up for their Corning debut at Valley Folk Music
